I woke up a couple days ago to an email telling me I am a: 2019 Seattle Wedding Photography WeddingWire Couples Choice award winner!
2019 is off to an amazing start!
This award is based off the reviews I received from my 2018 brides and grooms. A wedding day goes by so fast! It’s so important to have all of the big and little things documented throughout the day to look back on forever. I’m so glad I was able to provide beautiful tangible memories for my couples! I appreciate all the thoughtful reviews so much!
2018 was an incredible year for me, albeit one of the busiest years of my life. Only my second year in business, I jumped right in to everything I could! I did 26 weddings as the lead photographer and was the second photographer with friends for some other weddings too! I mixed in some family, senior, and maternity sessions as well as a whole day of holiday mini sessions in October.
It’s possible I underestimated the amount of time that editing so many weddings would take. Now I realize that as much as I really do LOVE shooting weddings, I definitely need to block out more time to spend with my husband and daughter next wedding season. (My husband and I just bought our first travel trailer! We are so excited to take our daughter out to enjoy the great PNW.)
So although I still plan on doing lots of weddings in 2019 I’m definitely going to be limiting the amount and being smarter with my time which with benefit both me and my upcoming clients. My brides and grooms last season were some of the best people I have ever met, and I can’t wait to capture more amazing and important moments for my clients this next year. As a wedding photographer you get to witness and document some of the most intimate and special moments and it makes my heart so happy to deliver photos to my clients after so they can look back on their day for the rest of their lives.
I do still have openings for 2019 available and I can’t wait to meet more of my new brides and grooms!
*I lost all of my Blog content when I created a new website, as I work to catch up, please check out my Wedding portfolio page and featured weddings showcasing work from this past wedding season.
Here are some fun photos that I took of my daughter this winter at Wild Hearts Farm.
